gpe-julia software package provides Julia/Mandelbrot set generator for GPE, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gpe-julia
gpe-julia is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gpe-julia package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gpe-julia *
You will get with gpe-julia package name, version, architecture and description in a table
