gosmore software package provides Openstreetmap.org viewer / wayfinder / search client, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gosmore
gosmore is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gosmore package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gosmore *
You will get with gosmore package name, version, architecture and description in a table
