How to Install golang-mode software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

golang-mode software package provides Go programming language - mode for GNU Emacs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install golang-mode

golang-mode is installed in your system.

Make ensure the golang-mode package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-mode *
