How to uninstall or remove gnuhtml2latex software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gnuhtml2latex package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gnuhtml2latex

Uninstall gnuhtml2latex including dependent package

If you would like to remove gnuhtml2latex and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gnuhtml2latex

Use Purging gnuhtml2latex

If you use with purge options to gnuhtml2latex package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gnuhtml2latex

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gnuhtml2latex
