gnome-video-arcade software package provides Simple MAME frontend, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-video-arcade
gnome-video-arcade is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-video-arcade package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-video-arcade *
You will get with gnome-video-arcade package name, version, architecture and description in a table
