gnome-speech-swift software package provides GNOME text-to-speech library (Cepstral swift engine support), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-speech-swift
gnome-speech-swift is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-speech-swift package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-speech-swift *
You will get with gnome-speech-swift package name, version, architecture and description in a table
