glusterfs-client software package provides clustered file-system (client package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glusterfs-client
glusterfs-client is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glusterfs-client package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glusterfs-client *
You will get with glusterfs-client package name, version, architecture and description in a table
