globus-gass-cache-program software package provides Globus Toolkit - Tools to manipulate local and remote GASS caches, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install globus-gass-cache-program
globus-gass-cache-program is installed in your system.
Make ensure the globus-gass-cache-program package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep globus-gass-cache-program *
You will get with globus-gass-cache-program package name, version, architecture and description in a table
