How to uninstall or remove glines software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed glines package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove glines 

Uninstall glines including dependent package

If you would like to remove glines and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove glines 
Use Purging glines

If you use with purge options to glines package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge glines 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove glines
