ginac-tools software package provides GiNaC symbolic framework support tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ginac-tools
ginac-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ginac-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ginac-tools *
You will get with ginac-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
