How to Install gifsicle software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gifsicle software package provides Tool for manipulating GIF images, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gifsicle

gifsicle is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gifsicle package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gifsicle *

You will get with gifsicle package name, version, architecture and description in a table
