How to Install gfsd software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gfsd software package provides Gfarm file system daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gfsd

gfsd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gfsd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfsd *

You will get with gfsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
