gfortran-4.4-multilib software package provides GNU Fortran 95 compiler (multilib files), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gfortran-4.4-multilib
gfortran-4.4-multilib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gfortran-4.4-multilib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gfortran-4.4-multilib *
You will get with gfortran-4.4-multilib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
