How to Install gettext software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gettext software package provides GNU Internationalization utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gettext

gettext is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gettext package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gettext *

You will get with gettext package name, version, architecture and description in a table
