ges0.10-tools software package provides Tools for use with the GStreamer editing services, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ges0.10-tools
ges0.10-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ges0.10-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ges0.10-tools *
You will get with ges0.10-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
