How to Install geiser software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

geiser software package provides enhanced Scheme interaction mode for Emacs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install geiser

geiser is installed in your system.

Make ensure the geiser package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep geiser *

You will get with geiser package name, version, architecture and description in a table
