How to Install gcc-msp430 software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gcc-msp430 software package provides GNU C compiler (cross compiler for MSP430), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gcc-msp430

gcc-msp430 is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gcc-msp430 package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcc-msp430 *
