gcc-4.5-arm-linux-gnueabi-base software package provides The GNU Compiler Collection (base package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gcc-4.5-arm-linux-gnueabi-base
gcc-4.5-arm-linux-gnueabi-base is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gcc-4.5-arm-linux-gnueabi-base package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcc-4.5-arm-linux-gnueabi-base*
