How to Install gcal software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gcal software package provides program for calculating and printing calendars, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gcal

gcal is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gcal package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gcal *

You will get with gcal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
