How to Install gawk software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gawk software package provides GNU awk, a pattern scanning and processing language, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gawk 

gawk is installed in your system.
