gausssum software package provides parse and display Gaussian, GAMESS, and etcs output, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gausssum
gausssum is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gausssum package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gausssum *
You will get with gausssum package name, version, architecture and description in a table
