How to uninstall or remove gallery2 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed gallery2 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove gallery2 

Uninstall gallery2 including dependent package

If you would like to remove gallery2 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gallery2 
Use Purging gallery2

If you use with purge options to gallery2 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge gallery2 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gallery2
