How to uninstall or remove fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu

Uninstall fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu including dependent package

If you would like to remove fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu

Use Purging fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu

If you use with purge options to fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fs-core-modules-3.2.0-23-virtu
