How to uninstall or remove freeguide software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed freeguide package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove freeguide

Uninstall freeguide including dependent package

If you would like to remove freeguide and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove freeguide
Use Purging freeguide

If you use with purge options to freeguide package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge freeguide

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove freeguide
