freedoom software package provides free game files for the 3D game DOOM, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install freedoom
freedoom is installed in your system.
Make ensure the freedoom package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep freedoom *
You will get with freedoom package name, version, architecture and description in a table
