fossology-dev software package provides architecture for analyzing software, development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fossology-dev
fossology-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fossology-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fossology-dev *
You will get with fossology-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
