fonts-kiloji software package provides Japanese Truetype font like longhand made by kilo, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-kiloji
fonts-kiloji is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-kiloji package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-kiloji *
You will get with fonts-kiloji package name, version, architecture and description in a table
