flvtool2 software package provides a manipulation tool for flash video files, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flvtool2
flvtool2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flvtool2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flvtool2 *
You will get with flvtool2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
