file-preseed software package provides load debconf preseed file, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install file-preseed
file-preseed is installed in your system.
Make ensure the file-preseed package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep file-preseed *
You will get with file-preseed package name, version, architecture and description in a table
