How to Install ffmpeg-dbg software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

ffmpeg-dbg software package provides Debug symbols for Libav related packages (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ffmpeg-dbg

ffmpeg-dbg is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ffmpeg-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ffmpeg-dbg *

You will get with ffmpeg-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
