How to uninstall or remove erlang-webtool software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed erlang-webtool package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove erlang-webtool

Uninstall erlang-webtool including dependent package

If you would like to remove erlang-webtool and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove erlang-webtool

Use Purging erlang-webtool

If you use with purge options to erlang-webtool package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge erlang-webtool

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove erlang-webtool
