erlang-syntax-tools software package provides Erlang/OTP modules for handling abstract Erlang syntax trees, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install erlang-syntax-tools
erlang-syntax-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the erlang-syntax-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep erlang-syntax-tools *
You will get with erlang-syntax-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
