dvsource software package provides programs to provide source streams for dvswitch, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dvsource
dvsource is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dvsource package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dvsource *
You will get with dvsource package name, version, architecture and description in a table
