How to uninstall or remove drupal6-mod-imagecache software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed drupal6-mod-imagecache package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove drupal6-mod-imagecache

Uninstall drupal6-mod-imagecache including dependent package

If you would like to remove drupal6-mod-imagecache and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove drupal6-mod-imagecache

Use Purging drupal6-mod-imagecache

If you use with purge options to drupal6-mod-imagecache package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge drupal6-mod-imagecache

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove drupal6-mod-imagecache
