How to uninstall or remove drawmap software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed drawmap package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove drawmap 

Uninstall drawmap including dependent package

If you would like to remove drawmap and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove drawmap 
Use Purging drawmap

If you use with purge options to drawmap package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge drawmap 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove drawmap
