diffpdf software package provides compare two PDF files textually or visually, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install diffpdf
diffpdf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the diffpdf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep diffpdf *
You will get with diffpdf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
