How to Install dict software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

dict software package provides dictionary client, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dict 

dict is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dict package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dict *

You will get with dict package name, version, architecture and description in a table
