dhcp-helper software package provides A DHCP relay agent, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dhcp-helper
dhcp-helper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dhcp-helper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dhcp-helper *
You will get with dhcp-helper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
