d-rats software package provides Communications tool for D-STAR amateur radio, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install d-rats
d-rats is installed in your system.
Make ensure the d-rats package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep d-rats *
You will get with d-rats package name, version, architecture and description in a table
