How to uninstall or remove cvsconnect software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cvsconnect package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cvsconnect 

Uninstall cvsconnect including dependent package

If you would like to remove cvsconnect and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cvsconnect 
Use Purging cvsconnect

If you use with purge options to cvsconnect package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cvsconnect 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cvsconnect
