How to Install cpu software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

cpu software package provides a console based LDAP user management tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cpu

cpu is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cpu package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpu *

You will get with cpu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
