contour software package provides a context centric shell for the Plasma Contour Active workspace, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install contour
contour is installed in your system.
Make ensure the contour package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep contour *
You will get with contour package name, version, architecture and description in a table
