coldfire software package provides Freescale Coldfire 5206 emulator, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install coldfire
coldfire is installed in your system.
Make ensure the coldfire package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coldfire *
You will get with coldfire package name, version, architecture and description in a table
