chicken-bin software package provides Practical and portable Scheme system - compiler, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install chicken-bin
chicken-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the chicken-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chicken-bin *
You will get with chicken-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
