chiark-backup software package provides backup system for small systems and networks, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install chiark-backup
chiark-backup is installed in your system.
Make ensure the chiark-backup package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep chiark-backup *
You will get with chiark-backup package name, version, architecture and description in a table
