How to Install checkpolicy software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

checkpolicy software package provides SELinux policy compiler, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install checkpolicy

checkpolicy is installed in your system.

Make ensure the checkpolicy package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep checkpolicy *

You will get with checkpolicy package name, version, architecture and description in a table
