How to uninstall or remove checkmp3 software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed checkmp3 package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove checkmp3 

Uninstall checkmp3 including dependent package

If you would like to remove checkmp3 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove checkmp3 
Use Purging checkmp3

If you use with purge options to checkmp3 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge checkmp3 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove checkmp3
