charm-tools software package provides tools for maintaining Juju charms, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install charm-tools
charm-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the charm-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep charm-tools *
You will get with charm-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
