How to uninstall or remove cget software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cget package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cget 

Uninstall cget including dependent package

If you would like to remove cget and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cget 
Use Purging cget

If you use with purge options to cget package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cget 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cget
