How to uninstall or remove cdd-common software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cdd-common package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cdd-common 

Uninstall cdd-common including dependent package

If you would like to remove cdd-common and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cdd-common 
Use Purging cdd-common

If you use with purge options to cdd-common package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cdd-common 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cdd-common
